swearing and violence in trailers

we have chosen to include swearing in our trailer in order to make it connect more into modern day life. We thought as a horror trailer the swearing gave it that sense of realism and it will help the audience connect to the trailer and be able to connect to the characters through their emotion. In this situation of swearing in our trailer it gives more effect on the emotions going through the characters head such as being scared/ angry and tormented this is why we have included it into our trailer as we feel that it gives it that bit more edge.
